Jack and the Lights
Lili has not been sleeping so well. The other night, she was screaming unlike any child I have ever heard scream before. She can be quite the terror at night. Basically, Carisa/we are trying to cut off night-time feedings (so that is mostly Carisa since there is not a lot that I have to do with that). Anyway, Lili doesn't like it.
So she was screaming loud enough that she woke Jack up who came into our room to "sleep" [Lili's still screaming]. I asked him why he would want to come into the screaming room and he replied that he wanted to sleep with us. It only took him a minute or two to realize that the screaming wasn't going to stop so he asked if I would take him back to his room and sleep in his room with him. I thought that was a good idea.
I took him to his room and put him into bed. I had to go back to tell Carisa something or other so I told Jack I would be right back. A minute later I came back to Jack, laying on his back with a puzzled look on his face. I asked him what was the matter and he said, "Something was in my room." Being interested in the paranormal I took him seriously and asked him what was in his room (in the past he has told us that a boy/man was outside his window saying, "what"). He replied, "Colored lights". I asked him where they went and he said they "blew out the window". [His window which had the blinds down and the heavy dark curtains closed so no light could come in from the outside.] He told me that the lights came in through this door and then were "sticking to the ceiling, fan and closet" before they blew out of the window.
I thought it was all pretty neat. Carisa, meanwhile, was still in the room with Lili who was still screaming her head off. I asked the "lights", if they were friendly, to go entertain Lili and help her settle down for Carisa's sake. At that point Lili stopped screaming. I asked Carisa the next morning if she had done something to stop her from crying and she said no, that she had just stopped. So, whoever or whatever those lights were, thanks.
