Happy 2009
2009 already. Happy New Year everyone!
2008 was a blur. I would like to take this space to review the year, but I don't think I could remember enough. We started the year out with the arrival of Lilianna Elisabeth who will be 1 year old this Saturday, January 3rd. I was still adjusting to my new job while we lived with Carisa's mom waiting for our house to be finished. During the first week of March, I went on a business trip and the house was finished early so Carisa moved into the house while I was in New Orleans. Eventually we got settled in and the summer came. Carisa and the kids spent time at the beach. The fall came, the winter came, financial melt-downs and historic elections. Now we have gone from Christmas to New Year's and now it is on to Lili's birthday and then Jack's. That's pretty much all I remember at this point. Sleep deprivation.
Here are some other recollections to song:
I wish you all a happy, prosperous and peaceful 2009!
