Let Me Tell You How It's Gonna Go...
1) Democrats and Republicans in congress were pretty much agreed on how to deal with the administrations bailout plan for Wall Street.
2) McCain says he is going to suspend his campaign, which he didn't (his commercials were still running everywhere and his people were still on talk shows bashing Obama), to rush back to Washington to fix it all.
3) Shortly after that, Republicans in Congress "all of a sudden" come up with an unworkable proposal that no one would ever agree to.
4) McCain gets to D.C., all of a sudden the Republicans (re)agree to the proposal they originally agreed to and then McCain shows up to the Debate tonight claiming that he saved the country.
Please, please, it couldn't be more transparent. Don't be fooled and don't let any one else be fooled.
UPDATE: McCain didn't even get that to happen. Before he showed up in D.C., people were agreeing and working together. Now after he showed up, no one is agreeing about anything with the Repubs having made an about face. Way to go McSame.
