Less Than Two Weeks
In less than two weeks (12 days) we will be home for good. It is very surreal. Carisa is doing a great job packing up the house while I concentrate on tying up all my loose ends at work and help with what I can at home. It looks like things should come together nicely and hopefully with minimum stress. My mom comes out on Tuesday to help us with the process which will swing into high gear at that time. My last day at work is in less time: 6 days. Hard to believe. My new job starts in 17 days. Jack hasn't been sleeping very well lately so I am too tired to think of any interesting details other than the numbers.
While trying to wake up this morning I found some interesting data from a Professor at the University of Minnesota; here and here. It is pretty clear, that at least in the last presidential election (2004) the more uneducated a state was then the more likely they were to vote Republican (for Bush). Interesting: Statistically, uneducated equals Republican? Or, at least uneducated equals Bush, which is certainly obvious.
